Requirements: Dogs must be at least 8m or older and passed the AKC CGC test

Goal: To refine and enhance obedience skills, deepen the bond between dog and handler, and prepare for the AKC Canine Good Citizen Advanced (CGCA) and AKC Community Canine (CGCU) certification.

Class Description:

Our Master Trailblazers class is designed for dogs that have mastered Trail of Manners and are ready to take their skills to the next level. Based on the AKC Canine Good Citizen Advanced (CGCA) and AKC Community Canine (CGCU) guidelines, this class focuses on refining essential obedience skills while adding real-world distractions to prepare both you and your dog for a higher level of responsibility and independence.

Using balanced training methods, we incorporate positive reinforcement, clear corrections, and real-life scenarios to help your dog become more reliable in public spaces, around distractions, and in complex environments. By the end of the 6 weeks, your dog will have a stronger connection with you and be ready to earn their CGCA or CGCU certification, showcasing their excellent manners and reliability in the community.

Additional Information

We want to maintain a calm atmosphere where dogs and owners get the most out of their instruction. That means silencing phones and paying attention as to not miss anything important.

There will be Homework: Each week you will be going home with things to work on in between classes.

Consistency is key! We will be available in between classes by email or phone for any questions or concerns.

There may be a need for us to suggest an alternate training tool. We will explain fully how to use them appropriately as well as where to purchase them
